PIENSALO.

DONATIONS AND UNDERWRITING FOR THE BAZAAR          We are also seeking Auction and Raffle items for our Silent Auction, Live Auction and Grand Raffle!!!  Please consider making a donation to one of these events.  Ideas for auction and raffle prizes include:  time share accommodations, airline tickets, car, truck, boat, jet ski, TV’s, use of your vacation or beach home, trips, computers, electronics, gift cards, autographed memorabilia, furniture, etc…  Or you are welcome to provide a financial gift to help underwrite our expenses for the day.  The goal of this donation is to help underwrite the bazaar.  Because the bazaar is a major fundraiser for the parish ministries, your generosity and support is greatly appreciated.  If we, as a parish, are able to work together to underwrite all of our expenses prior to the bazaar, then everything we make will be profit.    Thank you for your support!

Nov 1 2007 - 6:00pm
Nov 4 2007 - 12:00pm
Location:
Christian Renewal Center in Dickinson
Event Description:

An ACTS weekend is a three-day Catholic lay retreat presented by fellow parishioners like you who are also past retreatants. It is intended for women who want to develop a closer relationship with Christ and their community.

Participants discover a new or deeper relationship with the Lord and fellow parishioners through Adoration and daily prayer; through Community in the parish as a member of the Body of Christ; through Theology by encouraging more study of our faith through God’s word; and through the virtue of Service to our Lord, our parish, and to each other.

The retreat weekend is a chance to relax and focus on your faith journey; Holy Scripture and the teachings of the Catholic Church are the guides for the experience, and spiritual direction is available during the retreat. Our next ACTS retreat for women is set for November 1-4 at the Christian Renewal Center in Dickinson. Cost to participate is $185 and scholarship money is available for those who cannot otherwise afford to attend or need assistance with the cost.

Registration forms are available in the Narthex.
